FOR ENERGY LOVING BUSINESS OWNERS
We've all been there before: we meet someone and there's an instant connection. We feel like we've known them our whole lives, and they understand us in a way that nobody else ever has. But things quickly take a turn for the worse and we find ourselves in a toxic, codependent relationship that feels like it's draining the life out of us. If this sounds familiar, you may be caught in a karmic cycle with someone from your past. In this blog post, we'll explore what karmic relationships are, how to identify if you're in one, and most importantly, how to break the cycle.
What are Karmic Relationships?
Karmic relationships are intense, passionate, and oftentimes tumultuous. They can be with friends, family members, co-workers, or romantic partners. These relationships are marked by a feeling of familiarity and destiny. There's an instant connection and sense of intimacy that can't be explained logically. And while these relationships can be exciting and even intoxicating at first, they eventually turn sour. Karmic relationships often involve codependency, manipulation, drama, and pain. If you're in a karmic relationship, you may feel like you're walking on eggshells, never quite sure what will set your partner off. You may also find yourself engaged in destructive behaviours that you wouldn't normally partake in.
Identifying a Karmic Relationship
There are a few key signs that you may be in a karmic relationship:
-You feel like you're constantly walking on eggshells around this person
-You're attracted to their bad boy/girl persona
-You engage in self-destructive behaviours when you're around them
-You find yourself making excuses for their behaviour
-You feel like you have to Rescue or Fix them
-Your friends and family express concern about the relationship
-The relationship is rife with drama
-You have a hard time leaving them even though you know it's not good for you.
If any of these sound familiar, then it's possible that you're caught in a karmic cycle with someone from your past.
So how do you break free?
Breaking the Cycle
The first step is acknowledging that this is not a healthy relationship for either party involved. This can be difficult because karmic connections are intense and passionate by nature. But it's important to remember that just because something feels good doesn't mean it's good for you. Once you've acknowledged that this is not a healthy relationship, it's time to take some concrete steps to break free from the cycle:
1) Set boundaries with this person. This means setting limits on how much time you spend with them, what kind of language is acceptable, etc. It's important to be firm but respectful when setting these boundaries. Remember that you have a right to protect yourself from toxic behaviour.
2) Take some time for yourself. This means spending time doing things that make YOU happy--not things that please your partner or make them happy. This is YOUR life and YOU get to decide how to live it.
3) Seek professional help if necessary. If your attempts to break free from the cycle on your own aren't working, then seek professional help from a therapist or counsellor who can support you in making these changes. Remember that changing these patterns takes time and effort--but it IS possible! You deserve to be happy and healthy in all of your relationships!
Conclusion:
If you find yourself in a toxic relationship that feels like it's draining the life out of you, there's a possibility that you're caught in a karmic cycle with someone from your past. These relationships are often marked by codependency, manipulation, drama, and pain.
